At Okala we are looking for a Software Engineer who will design and implement reliable production grade software solutions aligned with business needs In this role you will contribute across the full development lifecycle ensuring scalability maintainability and operational excellence Your work will directly impact system performance reliability and long term architectural quality
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable software solutions aligned with business requirements
Develop new services and enhance existing applications within a microservices architecture
Translate technical specifications into clean maintainable application modules
Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards
Apply best practices in object oriented design modular architecture and data structure optimization
Develop document and maintain new features enhancements and bug fixes
Write and maintain unit and integration tests e g XUnit NUnit
Collaborate within Agile teams and contribute to iterative delivery cycles
Identify and resolve technical challenges proactively
Communicate effectively with cross functional teams
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience
Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures
Proficiency in C and ASP NET Core
Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience working with CI CD pipelines
Familiarity with messaging systems RabbitMQ NATS and streaming platforms Kafka
Strong knowledge of relational and non relational databases SQL Server Redis MongoDB
Experience with monitoring and observability tools Grafana Elastic APM Kibana PMM
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Clear communication skills
Ownership mindset and commitment to continuous learning
