The Senior IT Manager owns the company s entire IT function from designing and maintaining infrastructure and networks to leading the helpdesk team and planning IT budgets and growth This person works with senior leadership at a strategic level and can personally resolve complex infrastructure issues hands on
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and execute the IT strategy and roadmap in line with business goals
Prepare control and report the annual IT budget hardware licenses support contracts
Manage technology projects from feasibility to delivery including schedule cost and risk
Manage vendors and contractors quotations negotiation contracts and SLA monitoring
Establish ITIL based processes incident problem change and asset management
Define and enforce information security access and acceptable use policies
Develop Business Continuity BCP and Disaster Recovery DRP plans and test them regularly
Maintain full documentation of infrastructure network diagrams and operating procedures
Report regularly to senior management on service status risks and KPIs
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Hands on experience designing deploying configuring and troubleshooting
Cisco networking VLANs STP EtherChannel Inter VLAN routing Dot1x PortSecurity ACLs QoS HSRP and site to site VPN Cisco ISE
MikroTik RouterOS firewall and NAT bandwidth management queues multi WAN load balancing and failover VPN and hotspot
Ubiquiti UniFi wireless coverage design controller management SSIDs and VLANs guest networks and point to point links
Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policy domains and forests OUs and GPOs replication access rights and DC migration
Enterprise email Microsoft Exchange or similar such as Zimbra Kerio maintenance SPF DKIM DMARC anti spam mailbox backup and recovery
VMware vSphere ESXi vCenter cluster design HA DRS vMotion resource management snapshots and upgrades
SAN iSCSI Fibre Channel and NAS storage LUN and RAID configuration zoning multipathing ESXi integration and capacity planning
Veeam Backup Replication and LTO tape libraries 3 2 1 backup policy backup and replication jobs tape export and restore testing
ITSM platforms e g GLPI Jira Service Management ManageEngine deployment SLA definition ticket workflows asset management and reporting
Security and monitoring firewalls enterprise antivirus Zabbix server hardening and patch management
HELPDESK LEADERSHIP
Assign work prioritize tickets and oversee escalation across support tiers L1 L2 L3
Track response and resolution times and user satisfaction against defined SLAs
Train and mentor team members and build individual development plans
Build a knowledge base and standard troubleshooting guides
Run periodic performance reviews and take part in hiring new staff
Plan shifts and support coverage for after hours and critical situations
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of formal verifiable experience in enterprise infrastructure and networking including experience managing a technical team
Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Engineering Information Technology Electrical Engineering or a related field
Familiarity with the ITIL framework and information security principles ISO 27001
Ability to read technical documentation and correspond in English
Strong leadership decision making and problem solving skills under pressure
Clear communication with non technical managers
Discretion when handling sensitive information
Availability to respond to emergencies outside working hours
