About the Job We are looking for a Business Finance Manager to drive financial planning performance management and data driven decision making across the business In this role you will act as a strategic finance partner to business leaders providing financial insights evaluating business opportunities and supporting decisions that balance growth profitability and operational efficiency You will be responsible for managing budgeting and forecasting processes analyzing P L performance developing financial models and identifying opportunities to improve Unit Economics and overall business performance The ideal candidate combines strong financial expertise analytical thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams Key Responsibilities 1 Business Finance Financial Performance Manage and monitor P L performance ensuring visibility into revenue costs margins and profitability drivers Drive annual budgeting periodic forecasting and financial planning processes in collaboration with Finance FP A and business teams Analyze Actual vs Budget vs Forecast performance identify key variances and provide actionable recommendations Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance profitability and investment opportunities Monitor and analyze Unit Economics identifying opportunities to improve Contribution Margin and cost efficiency Conduct financial sensitivity analyses and develop scenarios to assess business risks and opportunities Identify financial risks cost optimization opportunities and profitability improvement initiatives Support resource allocation decisions through financial analysis and business performance insights 2 Business Planning Financial Analysis Support the development and execution of annual and quarterly business plans aligned with financial objectives Prepare comprehensive Business Cases Financial Feasibility Studies and ROI Analyses for new initiatives and investment decisions Evaluate the financial implications of commercial operational and strategic initiatives Analyze business performance trends and identify key drivers of revenue growth and profitability Develop financial scenarios to support decision making under different business conditions Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into measurable financial targets Provide financial recommendations to improve business efficiency investment effectiveness and sustainable growth 3 Business Performance Management Monitor business performance against financial targets budgets and forecasts Develop and maintain financial and operational performance scorecards Track key business KPIs including GMV NMV Revenue Gross Margin Contribution Profit CAC LTV and Unit Economics Identify performance gaps investigate root causes and recommend corrective actions Collaborate with business owners to develop and monitor financial improvement initiatives Prepare financial performance reviews and management reports for monthly and quarterly business reviews Support the alignment of financial targets with business plans operational KPIs and OKRs Evaluate the financial effectiveness and ROI of growth and operational initiatives 4 Financial Controlling Governance Monitor the accuracy and consistency of financial performance data in collaboration with Finance and FP A teams Support financial reconciliation processes and investigate discrepancies affecting P L accuracy Identify potential financial leakage cost inefficiencies and areas requiring stronger financial controls Ensure financial analyses and management reports are aligned with established financial policies and reporting standards Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve financial transparency and strengthen financial control processes Support the standardization and continuous improvement of financial planning reporting and controlling processes 5 Data Analytics Management Reporting Develop and maintain financial reports analytical models and management dashboards Partner with Data BI teams to improve the accuracy accessibility and consistency of financial and business performance data Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations for business leaders Improve reporting efficiency through process optimization and automation Establish consistent financial KPI definitions and reporting methodologies in collaboration with relevant teams Prepare executive level financial analyses and presentations to support business decisions 6 Business Partnering Stakeholder Management Act as a Finance Business Partner to Commercial Operations Marketing Product and other business functions Provide financial guidance and analytical support for key business initiatives and operational decisions Challenge business assumptions constructively and ensure financial implications are considered in decision making Work closely with Finance and FP A to align financial plans forecasts and actual performance Communicate financial insights and recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders Drive cross functional collaboration to improve financial performance and business outcomes Lead and develop team members where applicable while ensuring high standards of analytical quality and execution Qualifications Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in Business Finance FP A Financial Planning Business Controlling or related functions Proven experience in P L Analysis Budgeting Forecasting and Financial Performance Management Strong background in Financial Modeling Business Case Development and Scenario Analysis Hands on experience analyzing Unit Economics profitability drivers and business performance metrics Experience partnering with commercial or operational teams to support business decisions Experience working in dynamic data driven business environments Previous experience in E commerce Q Commerce Marketplace Retail or Digital Businesses is a strong advantage Experience managing or mentoring team members is preferred Technical Functional Skills Advanced knowledge of Financial Modeling P L Management Budgeting and Forecasting Strong understanding of Unit Economics Contribution Margin and profitability analysis Proficiency in Variance Analysis Scenario Planning and Financial Performance Evaluation Ability to develop robust Business Cases and assess ROI and investment feasibility Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial planning and reporting tools Good understanding of BI tools dashboards and data visualization Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities Understanding of key commercial and operational performance drivers Ability to translate financial analysis into practical business recommendations
