The Fulfillment Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day operations of SnappShop s Fulfillment Center ensuring the effective execution of all operational processes in alignment with business objectives and operational targets
This role is accountable for managing end to end fulfillment activities including inventory receiving and storage stock replenishment order picking and packing and dispatch coordination It also ensures optimal workforce utilization operational efficiency inventory accuracy order fulfillment performance and compliance with established quality and safety standards
The position plays a critical role in driving operational performance maintaining service quality and implementing process improvements to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of SnappShop Operations
Responsibilities
Oversee daily end to end operations including receiving put away storage replenishment picking packing staging and dispatch handover
Ensure accurate and timely order processing in accordance with operational targets and service level agreements
Monitor order flow and ensure effective coordination between Fulfillment Center activities and delivery operations
Ensure product availability appropriate storage conditions and efficient inventory movement
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and disruptions
Ensure effective utilization of storage capacity and compliance with inventory management procedures
Plan workforce capacity based on operational volume business requirements and workload forecasts
Manage employee related issues and conflicts while maintaining a productive and accountable work environment
Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs including productivity order accuracy fulfillment time order completion rate inventory accuracy and workforce efficiency
Track daily performance against established targets and identify performance gaps
Prepare regular operational performance reports and provide actionable insights to management
Develop and implement action plans to improve productivity service quality and operational efficiency
Apply data driven decision making to address operational challenges and improve overall performance
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows reduce operational costs and improve productivity
Coordinate closely with Planning Supply Chain Logistics Dispatch Customer Service and other relevant departments to ensure operational alignment
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve inventory order processing and delivery related issues
Participate in cross functional meetings and operational improvement projects
Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations
Requirements
3 5 years of relevant experience in Fulfillment Center operations warehouse operations logistics supply chain or e commerce
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a fast paced operational environment
Strong understanding of end to end Fulfillment Center operations and warehouse processes
Experience in inventory management order processing workforce planning and operational coordination
Ability to analyze operational data monitor KPIs and make data driven decisions
Strong leadership team management and employee coaching skills
Excellent problem solving critical thinking and decision making abilities
Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and make effective decisions under pressure
Knowledge of 5S Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
Ability to adapt to changing operational needs unexpected situations and shifting priorities
Ability to encourage employee development build team motivation and create a sense of engagement and belonging among team members
