Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Firewall Security Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure Network Security team The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing configuring maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise firewall and network security solutions
The successful candidate should have strong hands on experience with next generation firewalls NGFW network security architecture VPN technologies security policies and enterprise level network protection
Key Responsibilities
1 Firewall Management Configuration
Deploy configure manage and maintain next generation firewalls NGFW
Implement and optimize firewall security policies rules NAT and access control lists
Perform firewall upgrades patches backups and configuration management
Monitor firewall performance and troubleshoot connectivity and security issues
2 Network Security Architecture
Design and implement secure network architectures
Configure and manage site to site and remote access VPN solutions
Implement network segmentation and access control mechanisms
Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation measures
3 Security Monitoring Troubleshooting
Monitor firewall logs traffic patterns and security events
Investigate and resolve network security incidents
Analyze suspicious traffic and potential security threats
Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure service availability and security
4 Documentation Reporting
Maintain technical documentation of firewall configurations and network security policies
Prepare operational and security reports
Document incidents changes and troubleshooting procedures
5 Technical Support Collaboration
Provide advanced technical support for firewall related issues
Collaborate with network NOC and infrastructure teams
Participate in infrastructure projects and security improvement initiatives
Support technical assessments and security audits
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering IT or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in network security and firewall administration
Strong hands on experience with enterprise firewall solutions
Advanced knowledge of TCP IP routing switching VLANs NAT and VPN technologies
Experience in firewall policy management troubleshooting and security monitoring
Familiarity with network security best practices and enterprise IT environments
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within technical teams
