At Smartech we build large scale Martech and Adtech systems that process high volume real time traffic and data
We re looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex backend and distributed systems challenges and wants to work on products used at scale
What You ll Do
Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs
Build and optimize real time data pipelines and stream processing systems
Work with distributed systems handling high throughput traffic and data
Improve system reliability observability and performance
Collaborate closely with Product Data and Infrastructure teams
Participate in architecture discussions code reviews and technical decision making
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
Requirements
4 years of backend development experience
Strong coding skills in Python or Go
Experience with Kafka Redis and asynchronous event driven architectures
Hands on experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch ClickHouse or Scylladb
Good understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
Strong debugging and problem solving skills
Comfortable working in a collaborative and fast paced environment
Nice to Have
Experience in Adtech Martech Fintech or high scale internet products
Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
Exposure to ML AI powered systems
