We are seeking a Business Unit Director to join our client a reputable and leading pharmaceutical company In this key role you will lead a therapeutic group formulate comprehensive strategies and align cross functional teams to drive growth and profitability taking full ownership of the P amp L with a strategic mindset to expand the market share of this division
Key Responsibilities
bull Develop business strategies and operational plans for the assigned therapeutic group
bull Lead coordinate and evaluate the performance of the sales marketing and medical teams
bull Manage budgets precisely control costs and take full accountability for the unit s P amp L
bull Establish and nurture long term professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders KOLs scientific associations and business partners
bull Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities
bull Oversee the execution of promotional campaigns and scientific events in strict compliance with legal standards
What You Bring
bull Minimum of 15 years of relevant and successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry
bull Doctorate degree in Medicine Pharmacy or Veterinary Medicine
bull Proven track record in strategic leadership managing large teams and P amp L management
bull Deep understanding of the national pharmaceutical market and proficiency in analyzing sales and marketing data
bull Excellent networking negotiation and relationship building skills with physicians and key stakeholders
bull Strong problem solving abilities data driven decision making and change management skills
Nice To Have
bull Strong command of English for reviewing scientific literature and international interactions
bull MBA or advanced business management certifications
bull Prior experience and solid knowledge of the specific therapeutic area and its product portfolio
